FAQs
The mower fails to start
CAUSE
·The battery pack charge is depleted.
·The battery pack is not properly inserted into the battery compartment.
·The battery pack or mower electronics are too hot. (The power indicator on the mower shines orange).
·The side rails are not extended to their maximum length or the clamps are not locked in position
·The handle is not engaged at one of the three operating positions
·The mower deck is clogged with grass and debris.
SOLUTION
·Charge the battery pack.
·Insert the battery pack into the battery compartment and press it until you hear a click.(Refer to ATTACHING/DETACHING THE BATTERY PACK)
·Allow the battery pack or mower to cool until the temperature drops below 60℃.(Refer to BATTERY HIGH TEMPERATURE PROTECTION)
·Fully extend the handle till see the bar under arrow marking and lock the handle locking knob. or tight the screw in the clamp at right side
·Set the handle at one of the three operating positions.
·Clean the mower deck and make certain that the blade has freedom of movement.
The mower cuts unevenly
CAUSE
·The blade is dull.
·The grass-cutting height is not set properly.
·The blade is assembled incorrectly.
SOLUTION
Sharpen or replace the blade.
·Move the deck height to a higher setting.
·Reassemble the blade,following the section REMOVING/INSTALLING THE BLADE in this manual.
Short running time of the mower with included battery
CAUSE
Grass conditions and cutting height setting will greatly affect the battery run time.The claimed run time is based on a light load condition.
SOLUTION
Raise the blade height and slow your pace to reduce the cutting load.
The mower does not mulch properly
CAUSE
·Wet grass clippings are sticking to the underside of the deck.
·The mower is set to cut too much grass at once.
SOLUTION
·Wait until the grass dries before mowing.
·Raise the deck to a higher cutting-height setting.
The blade/motor unexpectedly stops while mowing
CAUSE
The battery pack charge is depleted.
·Mower is in overload condition.
·Mower deck is clogged with grass and debris.
·The battery pack or mower electronics are too hot.
·The side rail is retracted a little by the pushing force applied on the handle.
SOLUTION
Charge the battery pack.
·Raise the cutting height or slow down the pace.
·Unclog the mower deck.Raise the cutting height and/or cut a narrower swath.
·Allow the battery pack or mower to cool until the temperature drops below 60℃.
·Unlock the clamps.Fully extend the side rails and lock the handle locking knob again.
There is excessive vibration
CAUSE
·The cutting blade is loose.
·The cutting blade set is unbalanced.
·The cutting blade is bent.
·The motor shaft is bent.
·The mower is set to cut too much grass at once.
SOLUTION
·Tighten the outer nut.
·Balance the blade set following the SHARPENING THE BLADE.
·Replace the blade.
·Contact the service center.
·Raise the deck to a higher cutting-height setting.
The handle locking knob cannot be closed in position
CAUSE
The side rails are not fully extended.
SOLUTION
Fully extend the side rails,then lock the handle locking knob.

CAUSE
The side rails are not fully extended.
SOLUTION
Fully extend the side rails,then lock the handle locking knob.
Mower is difficult to pull back when the self-propel is turned off
CAUSE
The wheels are temporarily locked.
SOLUTION
Simply push the mower ahead slightly and then move the mower as desired.
The motor works but the blade doesn't cut the grass
CAUSE
The blade bolt is not tightened to the required torque
SOLUTION
Re-tighten the blade bolt to recommended torque of 49-59 Nm.
